This piece was created for our annual Kangaroo Island Easter Art Exhibition, which opens Good Friday night. The theme of the exhibition is “Walk on the Wild Side”, which I fortunately do quite often. I thought I’d celebrate my tenth year of participation with a “classic”. I see the artwork as proof of my presence in the wild landscape, as I walked and collected the leaves from the trees on my property. And that the chew marks are proof of the beetles’ presence; we collaborated.
