Winter’s End

This is the second of my Studio Previews, a tiny one… Winter’s End. It’s made from the leaves of our beautiful Kangaroo Island Narrow-leaved Mallee. I gathered them from a fallen branch that had weathered over our extraordinarily wet winter (our surrounding roads are still flooded). I sat on the edge of the track, soaking up the sunshine among myriad spring flowers, birds and insects, and selected the tiniest mottled leaves I could find.
